Version-Specific Locking IDs
For RecoverPoint for VMs v4.3 and beyond
Your Locking ID will be the "RP vCenter ID", in the format 1 to 64 alpha, numeric or special characters.
For versions of RecoverPoint for VMs Prior to v4.3
Your Locking ID will be the "RPA Cluster ID", in the format 1 to 20 alpha or numeric characters.
To locate the vCenter ID
To locate your vCenter ID, complete the following instructions:
In a web browser, enter the IP address for the ESXi or vCenter Server system:
When prompted, enter your login credentials.
The value of the "instanceUuid" field should be entered as the vCenter ID.
In the following example, the vCenter ID is: 87C91D7D-0566-493B-A067-63C25B916B23
To locate the RPA Cluster ID
To locate your RPA Cluster ID, complete the following instructions:
Run the CLI command get_internal_cluster_uids.
Enter the cluster name, or alternately press Enter to see a list of all cluster internal uids, such as the following:
